The house

A MI KISHÁZUNK has two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a toilet. We are positive that it has been equipped with every modern convenience that you might need during your either short or long stay. It is an old building, at least a hundred years old and our intention was to keep as much as possible from the past because we wanted to represent the simple and natural but imperfect village ambience that is typical of our guesthouse as well.  Obviously this atmosphere has been made complete with modern technical devices. And as we say A MI KISHÁZUNK’s style is noefarmhouse-style.

Green bedroom

The Green bedroom has a floor area of 16m2. The windows overlook the garden. You can find two comfortable, tailor-made beds, which can be transformed into a double bed. There is enough place for a cot as well. Here you can also find a TV, a wardrobe, two bedside tables, a small desk made from Great-Granny’s sewing machine with two chairs and a valet stand, all of these can make your stay even more comfortable.

Red bedroom

The Red bedroom has a floor area of 24m2. One window overlooks the street, the other one the garden. Here we can provide comfortable accommodation for 4 people on two single beds and a sofa bed, or any of their variation.  There is also enough place for a cot. It is equipped with a TV, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, bedside tables, a desk and chairs. The speciality of the room is a unique map of Szomód made by a local artist, we really appreciate Gábor Lengyel’s piece of art.

Dining room and kitchen

The dining room is the centrepiece of A MI KISHÁZUNK. This is where you enter the building. It is fully equipped: a dining table ideal for 6 people, built-in cooker, microwave, fridge, sink, dishwasher, Italian-style percolator and Tchibo capsule coffee maker, dishes for cooking and baking (you can even find a hundred-year-old bundt-cake pan). Set of dishes for 6, different kinds of glasses if you would like to celebrate any special occasion.

Bathroom and toilet

There is a separate toilet to make the morning/evening routine smoother. Right next to it you can find the spacious bathroom with a bathtub, washbasin, several shelves, a bench and washing machine (if you go to the beach, you are here with small kids, or on a longer stay it can come handy). You do not need to bring a hairdryer, an iron or an iron stand, you can find all these here.

Garden

Our garden area is 300m2 including everything you need for a pleasant, village holiday:

a big, shady tree, having the capacity to cover with the canopy your car, a playground for kids, a barbecue area for a grill or open fire. There is also a covered patio for 6, but there is an option to use our palette furniture for 4 as well. You can also relax on our sunbeds and on hot days it is also a great idea to sunbathe in the garden on the lawn. The garden is adorned with a refurbished well, that works but it is closed for the safety of children. The whole area is surrounded by a high and solid fence preventing curious looks so you can enjoy your privacy.
